2020 is a tough and emotional year for us. Loss, grief, and constant adaptation to various circumstances have put us to the test. We found peace, comfort and healing in the Eifel. A place where Krista (Kris) has been coming for 40 years and where we have been seeking refuge in our holiday home in Kronenburg since 2018. So we are well known in the Eifel!

The events and circumstances in 2020 have taught us a lot and provided us with insights. This has stimulated us and made it possible to fulfill a long-cherished wish. Supported and inspired by our children, our parents and our co-parents and with the help and critical advice of many a friend in the Netherlands and in the Eifel, we have changed course. We have sold our house in Amersfoort and our holiday home in Kronenburg and from February 1, 2021 we will settle completely, permanently in Walsdorf. We start a Bed & Breakfast in the famous and beloved Vulkaneifel.

Our motivation and mission:

We are convinced that in these stressful times, well-being is more important than ever and that well-being is not only achieved through sport, money, healthy lifestyle, technology or leisure, but that relaxation, tranquility, safety, balance between leisure time and work and synergy with family and environment is needed. Every day again.

In collaboration with like-minded people from our broad network, we want to offer our guests the opportunity to fully relax, recharge, find balance and in their own strength or even heal, after which they return energetically to their daily hectic. A stay with us is a welcome addition to treatments for stress, burnout, trauma and grief and the associated physical and psychological consequences, but also an enrichment for those who want to develop or for teams who want to discover their qualities.
